The plastic figure was created at the invitation of the Munich Opernfestspiele 1998 for an installation of 3,800 figures on the square in front of the Opera.
For art collectors, a special issue was published in Verlags Editionen, in which the figure is screwed on a steel plate, in black, red or yellow (“gold”), limited to 111 copies, numbered and hand-signed on the base label.
In addition to this limited edition, the dwarfs are also available unlimited in several colors.
